KENT, Wash. (AP) -- Brandon Bernstein won the NHRA's Top Fuel division for the second time in three events, speeding past points leader Tony Schumacher on Sunday at the NHRA-Carquest Auto Parts Nationals at Pacific Raceways.
Bernstein improved to 8-1 in championship races with a 4.527-second pass at 329.99 mph, easily beating Schumacher's 6.021 seconds. His second win in three events followed a 26-race winless run.
Stock in the 14th of 23 events.
Medlen's run of 4.887 seconds at 310.48 mph narrowly beat teammate and points leader Robert Hight (4.933 at 305.63).
Johnson won the Pro Stock event title in an uncontested final. Ron Krisher was not injured in a fiery crash after beating Jeg Coughlin in the semifinals. Krisher's car was destroyed and he was unable to compete in the final round.
