Love this dog today...think there's a huge advantage to SD at the QB spot...give me Flutie any day of the week over Plummer..and I mean a healthy Plummer, not one coming off of injury....Flutie's done it too many times to think last week was a fluke...I think he puts up good numbers again....also like the fact SD is playing better lately...they may have finally adjusted to their neantherdal coach...or more likely, Flutie is simply running the show and he'll "coach" the team to victory...think NE exposed Denver's D which is pretty average...why can't Flutie do exactly what NE did and score points...I could see an outright last minute Flutie-led victory in this one....I'll take this with the 8 1/2 big and ML +280 as well....for someone who bashed Flutie early in his career, I'm now a big fan of his......San Diego 34 Denver 30.

Played very small a Skins (+220) and SD (+280) ml parlay that pays 11 1/2 to 1. Aready gave my reasoning for the Chargers above...played the Skins for the following reasons 1) they cannot afford any more losses and stay in any playoff shape 2) they let their O coordinator call last week's game and he did great...he will call this weeks as well 3) O line played well last week for the first time in weeks 4) Skins a lot like New Orleans...good talent at the skills position, average to poor D, undicisplined as hell...but has the talent at both QB and receiver to put points up....something Carolina doesn't have as much of...NO should have beaten them...think Skins will 5) Big win last week for Panthers could be a down week this week.
Carolina wins this game 8 times out of 10...think this is one of two they lose...Skins 27, Carolina 23.

Good luck with your plays today grey beard. Like the Redskins but could not bet against a hot team like Carolina. Chargers and the points look good although Denver is tough after the bye week(10-4 ATS since 1992).

Two props that look good in the SD game are SD +180 +3 1/2 points and San Diego over 18 points for the game. As far as the 10-4 OTS off the bye week, I think that's a tribute to Shanahan whose a good coach...but I've read where Plummer is not fully healed...and his strength, is throwing on the run....I think the bye week gets him into this game when another week might be the way to go....I love a 41-old Flutie running all over the place against the hobbled Plummer who really is only effective on the move...if SD shuts down the running game, Denver is in trouble IMO.
