Best On-Line poker site

Need help want to open an account curious as to which sites are good?? I've heard party poker and poker stars but what are the differences. I like the idea of the step tournaments and I only play no-limit holdem so any help would be greatly appreciated. I usually play about twice a week at a local casino but would rather be able to stay home and play on-line if it is as good.

partypoker.com is probably the most popular...i heard pokerstars or whatever its called is where alot of MJer's play and like it...I like the casino feel much better though, you have to get good reads in poker as im sure you know

Thats a tough question depending on what you are looking for. Poker Stars has a ton of different tournaments but the players are MUCH better there, plenty of cash games for whatever limit you want, again the players are better here than at Party. Party definatly has a TON of fish, but if you play at lower limit cash games the suckouts can become mind boggling. If your a tournament player and looking for a good game then I say Poker Stars can't be beat, I also prefer their Sit N Go setup as opposed ot Party's. If cash games at the 5/10 level or higher are your game then you will find Party Poker more to your liking.

The othe sites pretty much pale in comparison simply because of the lack of action.
