Finally learned how to play Craps at Casino Royale few weeks ago... only place on Strip with a $3 minimum. Makes a big difference! Loved the old school surly pit crew and awesome waitresses... show them a little love (tips) and they take great care of you. Got the impression there wasn't a lot of tipping here. I'm a firm believer in Karma and tipping the staff definitely improves the table aura!

Will go there next month. I love playing Craps and it's nice to have a low minimum

You might check out The Flamingo the strip. In a really good location too.

Awful, Awful property.... outside stinks of fish that or whatever they're feeding the pelicans. Hotel is cheap on top of cheap.... no good food..... imo certainly one of the worst the strip has to offer

Agree, mediocre property and many better places to stay.

It is tough to stay at any of the Caesar's (formerly Harrah's) anymore as they are selling properties outside LAS to finance the Linq project.

They haven't spent a dime in upgrades or even routine maintenance in many, many years and have pulled back on comps and amenities.

To top that off, they now charge a resort fee just like everyone else after they expended alot of marketing energy on the fact that they were the exception to that fee.

You might be able to find decent rates at TI if you want to stay in the heart of the strip. Off strip properties will offer many values. If you must stay at a CET property (Caesars), I think Ballys probably offers the best value.

The Paris has a quiet book. I mean , you wouldn't even know it's there.

Caesars/Harrahs started in with bundling Internet- Local Calls- Fitness room into a $ 20- 25 Fee per night.
They put out a special Propoganda Statement that their customers requested this fee to be bundled together for convenience. I must admit they have Balls to try and Bullshit a gambler. And Harrahs properties have their waiters harass you with suggestive selling at your table when you are trying to order.

BUT ALL IN ALL , the SPORTSBOOK is adequate and is not over-runned with local yokels.---If you like the atmosphere of the old N.Y.C. OTB's and like a little bustle in the Sportsbook, then that would be The Orleans or Gold Coast.
The Orleans/ Gold Coast does have life.
