USA vs Norway

Hockey Betting Odds: NO LINE YET

The USA team had a blue collar 3-1 win over Switzerland to start the tournament on Tuesday and on Thursday, they are faced with another cakewalk.

While the US team is clearly very young and inexperienced, they also proved
to be very sound and very versatile. They can role four lines just like any
other elite team in this tournament and they are definitely capable of
scoring and playing defense.

The Norwegian team isn't very good and they won't present much of a
challenge to the US team. They are solid on defense, so the US team is
probably looking at a score line similar to their first game, which should
result in a 3-0 or 4-0 game.

Switzerland vs Canada

Olympic Hockey Betting Odds: NO LINE YET

Team Canada had only one 45-minute practice prior to the start of the
Olympic Hockey Tournament but really, they got 60 minutes of good
chemistry-building action against the Norwegian team on Tuesday.

Canada started slow as the two teams were tied 0-0 after one period but they
turned it up a notch and were leading 3-0 after two periods and finally won
8-0. The Canadians were never really threatened by Norway and they will look
for a very similar effort against Switzerland on Thursday.

Canada was shutout by Switzerland in the 2006 Games in Turin and this is
very much a revenge game. Expect them to come out with lots of fire and lots
of steam to prove a point.

The Swiss team doesn't have the weapons to come from behind so if Canada
gets ahead by a goal or two, that will be all. In front of their home fans
on home ice, the Canadians will stomp the Swiss team.
