Like the dynamic here, starting pitching definitley favors the home team. Valdes (18.2IP 2.41 ERA 9.2MBA lst 3)(3.18 ERA vs BAL). Mercedes (17IP 5.29 15.4MBA lst 3)(18.00 ERA vs. ANA). Going to make an assumption here that ANA having the day off tomorrow, and BAL having to fly right home for a makeup game vs. TEX will also favor ANA.

I like the Angels in this spot too, MOV. Valdes could give the dominantly right handed Baltimore lineup problems. Mercedes has been getting hit hard more times than not this season. Anaheim has the far superior bullpen as well and is at home.
