We are going to New York for a family event and we are traveling through PA. Our son will be just over 2.5 years when we go. I am trying to decide if we go to Sesame place or Dutch Wonderland.

It looks like Sesame place would be a little better for him, but it cost $47 for him because he is over 2 years old. Dutch Wonderland is no cost for kids 2 years and under. Not so much worried about the cost, but I would be annoyed if I paid the money and it wasn't all that fun for him.

Anyone been to both? If so, cost aside, which one would you recommend?

Thanks!

We will be going in July, so water should be fine, but it is nice to know that. I am sure the water would get old after an hour or two. It looked like Herseypark was for older kids, is that not the case?

trust me on this; a 2 year old will have doing whatever as long as you are happy. Your 2 year old would be just as happy in a baby pool in your backyard as he would going to an amusement park. He's also not going to remember any of it when he's older. Trips like that are for u and mom. If you want to go, go. If not, then don't waste your time.

Go to Hersheypark, they have way more things for a 2 year old than Dutch Wonderland. Trust me I live 20 minutes from DW and 50 minutes from HP. You and your family will have a much better time in Hershey. DW and SP are a waste of time.

Get my email from Jack and I'll send you some diScount coupons for HP.

jack sent me your AOL email, but it was returned. Do you have another one? Feel free to get mine from Jack, it is up to date.

Thanks for the help!

I grew up like 2 miles from DW as a kid and I still live within 20 mins of it now.Only been to sesame place once.DW is has a water park now that is really neat and is much more laid back and not as busy.Sesame place is much crazier but would probably have a lot more to do.I really like DW though but its much closer then sesame for us.
