Last night I was all over the Saints. Bet them pretty big...nothing HUGE but solid bet for me.

I was watching the game last night and was PUMPED when they went up 10. I went to look at my bet slip and sure as crap I had the Raiders +4. I was so pissed....I am scrambling trying to figure out how to recover my loss by getting a live bet or something.

Then the Raiders started playing ....when they tied it before Half I had to decide to either buy the Saints back at -3 or let it ride......I took it as an sign to not... Rode the Raiders even though I thought Saints would still win. But believe for some reason I had the wrong bet to begin with for a reason....so RODE IT!!!!:mj07:

Raiders surprised me, Ending up dominating the game 2nd half..... So sometimes its just good to be LUCKY rather than cap games. Usually stuff in the capping world happens the other way for me.....but NOT LAST NIGHT.

I drank an extra beer last night and just enjoyed that fact I messed up and it was GOOD:toast::toast:

I've done it all before, too . . . Winning wagers I thought I placed, but didn't . . . Losing wagers I thought I placed, but didn't . . . And closer to your experience last night, both winning and losing wagers that I actually placed on the other side of what I meant to make . . . What I definitely recall are a couple of e.w. golf wagers that I thought I placed at long odds of like 33/1 and 150/1 that I actually failed to make, and then sweating out the action on Saturday and/or Sunday when the players were in contention, but I never had any of those missed golf wagers ever come home in a way that I had to beat myself up over the outcome . . . In any event, I have no idea how those mistakes have played out over the long run, but I suspect it is about a wash.
