I just don't get it....can somebody explain....

and I don't want to hear that Broncos are undefeated at home or can run the ball etc. because I am 100% positive that Belicheck will devise a scheme to stop the run AND THEY WILL. Plummer will have to play very well to win this game. What is his playoff record?????? Brady will simply slice and dice Broncos pass defense all night.

I am not a Bronco's fan but what is wrong with the argument-home field--run the ball well--13-3--I was amazed looking at NE's last 6 games--look at who they have played? Don't see NE running the ball that well. I agree Jake will have to play a perfect game--I see a close game with alot of points. You still have to deal with the mystic of Brdy adn Belichick. Weather looks like about 55 durign the day--maybe some wind with probably 45 degrees at kickoff-should be a fun game!

Denver is third in the NFL in INTs...Denver 13-3 with a tougher schedule than NE...Plummer isn't the only QB that has to play good in that game...your stuck in the past brother...I think the potential NE/Indy match-up has you hooked...NE can't do it on the road...Indy and Denver are the two best teams in the AFC...I would even put NE behind Cincy

When will people learn. NE and Brady getting points in the playoffs? Where has everybody been the last few years? I hate the Pats, and will be rooting hard for Denver, but I see the Patsys coming away with the win. PLEASE Denver prove me wrong!!

Plummer won't be the only one on the field that night I'm pretty sure. May be wrong but I'm pretty sure guys like Al Wilson, Lynch, CHAMP, will play. Mike Anderson might get a carry or two and so may Tatum. Big Gain Dayne may get a chance to suit up as well.

What I don't get is all the people talking about Plummer like he's some weed smokin fool (even if he looks the part). He doesn't star in a game anymore, he is only made to manage it and some people make better managers than workers....Sure they got smoked the last 2 years by Indy and the Pats beat Indy, but Invesco is a tough place to play and I think the Pats finally realize there's more to the NFL than beating the Bills and Jets (twice). If they wanted to play Denver so quick they should have beat Miami in the last game but Bellicheck knew that wasn't a good idea...

I'll give the pats credit, they are a great team, great organization, with a great coach, but streaks end and hopefully (big Bronco Fan so take the bias away) this streak ends Saturday night.

i think people are underestimating ne. how they are being given points is a gift, i think. i might be living in past but the pats are superior to every team in league.coach, qb,team.

I wish I had the good weed you've been smokin MJ...

Nobody is underestimating NE, unless you are referring to the books for making Denver the favorite. The Broncos aren't underestimating the Pats, we fans are not underestimating the Pats, and the media does not underestimate the Pats.

The Pats haven't played a decent team since KC and they lost to the Chiefs. Yeah they beat Jax last week but they should have at home and even if they went to Jax that team was not as great as their record indicated.

I think secretly you want to blow Brady and have Bellicheck do you from behind the way you are talking. They are a great team , have a great QB, one of the best coaches in the league, but I wouldn't say they are superior to all the teams in the league in all aspects of the game. If they beat the Broncos I will take my hat off to them but I think this Denver team is even better all around then the Elway Super Bowl teams and I am a big follower (but my opinion means nothing in the grand scheme of things). I just don't think it is gonna happen.

Denver can be dominate at times, just not this time. People that think Denver will move the ball consistently in this game are sorely mistaken.

I know it sounds like a ridiculous statement but Palmer wouldn't not have lost a 17 point lead...I'm not big on the NE defense...their is some holes and we'll see it against Denver...I honestly think with a healthy Palmer Cincy would outscore NE...Its only that top notch glue too...I prefer that good old toy air plane glue not that weak ass Elmer's chit

some people will never learn... new england has broken the backs of many bettors over the past 4 years. actually 10 times as compared to none. i guess people just psyche themselves out. like watching a roulette wheel hit black 10 times in a row. for no logical reason whatsoever they convince themselves its gonna hit red next even though it is mathematically impossible to justify this scenario. sure denver is a good team. but cant you just tell that they are missing something? and cant you just tell that belichick still has that ace up sleave?

i hate ne.......i've been on ne the past few years in the playoffs and cleaned up.......i was on ne last week......this week, i'm on denver

this ne team is NOT the ne team of last year that went 17-2.....it's not the NE team of the year before that went 17-2......this team is good but not great and has many, many issues (running the ball, stopping the pass, stopping the run, while good lately they have been playing stiffs, injuries, beating quality opponents)

Running the ball. You still have to be able to run it and the New England offensive line hasn't been getting the job done. Dillon is starting to look old. Brady is a huge advantage over Plummer but the talent around Jake is a lot better. The offensive lines will be the difference in this game as Denver will still be able to run the ball effectively. Just an opinion but the game is more than just the QB position. Their is a reason Dan Marino never won a super bowl.

actually a quality defense is the reason dan marino never won a super bowl. even without a running game to balance an offense and keep opposing defenses honest, marino still did what he did. its as if i told you i was gonna slap you in the mouth- you knew it was coming- and i did it anyways, over and over and over again. and there is nothing you could do about it...but i digress...

Do you want Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and three points, or do you want Mike Shanahan, Jake Plummer and the home crowd? Seriously...

Sounds like you are gonna talk yourself into a bet on the Patriots so goodluck. All good things come to an and though and the Patriots cant win it every year. Home field is huge here.

Since week 9 Patriots #1 in NFL in rush yards allowed - 68.1 yards per game. Mike Anderson is getting old and tatum bell is young, inexperienced, and hasnt had more than 17 carries a game. I think NE can hold the Broncos running game to 100 yards or under, this will force Plummer to have make plays through the air. New England will have backside contain - they're too smart to allow Plummer to rollout free on those bootlegs. On the other side, I think Pats will have trouble running but Brady vs those young cormers is a mismatch. I see a very close game but see the Pats pulling it out something like 24-21. GL
