Not sure what to call it, mabe someone has already done it.

Basically how it works, is certain games everyday will have the underdog +XXX (no way!!) also the favored team will have a spread of -1.5(+/-XXX)

ok so the bet is that you wait for certain games, to where the underdog is + along with the spread for the favored team, once this occurs you place 2 identical wagers on each of those bets.

now in my research, last season i only got to do it for about 13 games, i went 12-1 i think i was betting $5 units and gain a decent amount off these games.

so if the line is always positive you will get your bet back + the other one you lost + the profit.

2 bets - #1 $10 to win 12.23, #2 $10 to win 14.24, bet #1 hit, total payout is $22.23 profit = $2.23, (just examples it all depends on the lines)

so in further research i took 19 days in last april's season here is what i got

# of games = 209

# of games -1.5 runs diffrence = 58

here is a list of all the games that were 1.5 run diffrence on those days. (w) stands for win by that team and the left team is away, right team is home and ofcoarse the date it occured

So with this information is may look like a lot of games end -1.5, and there are quite a few however some of them the underdog won by 1 run!

so if your still following me, in order to lose this bet, the favored team has to only win by 1 run. im going to try this system a little further next season

Another thing to consider is the fact that you cant bet this system on every single game that has action everyday because the circumstances may not be right. as well you dont have to bet on all the games that do meet the criteria, and if you lose one day, you could always double up the next if you really wanted to. i think it would eventually hit.

if anyone could shed light on the those games on those dates, who was the underdog for the game. that would help a lot

Let me know what you think thanks!

not necessarily, this isnt a typical system. the chances of the favored team winning by one, on the game you bet on, are definatly low. like i said you cant bet this way on every single game every day, it has to be the right scenerio. so 10 other games that day could end under 1.5 runs apart but your has a good chance of not.

i will be able to better research this once the season starts, or if i can find a history of old game lines.

have to agree with layin if i understand your system correctly....

you have three chance to win in this scenario:
Underdog by one run WIN
Underdog by more than one run WIN
Favorite by one run LOSS
Favorite by more than one run WIN

Trouble is, the losses are devastating to the bank roll and make the system unworkable, at least for me. Good luck in your research.

well i have to wait for the new season to start however. this isnt hte typical 56 perecnt sports better win percentage system. youd want about a 80+ percent win ratio, not all the games i listed where even applicable for play. your very limited to which games you can play.

it will be interesting to see how it goes when the season opens.
