at least yesterday it was. I love college hoops and college football. I love pro football.NBA is OK,hockey the same.But my 1st love is baseball. Always has and always will be.A big time Phillie fan all my life despite being born at Fordham hospital in the Bronx.Had to live my entire life around Met and Yankee fans and I'm old enough to have friends that are Dodger and Giant fans also.As a kid I was a great card flipper and the guys with the red hat and the " P" became my favorite.I always wanted to be different so Richie Allen and Johnny Callison were better then Mantle and Maris.[in my eyes]
I play in 2 big fantasy leagues and a couple of fun ones.So I know my players.Anybody that plays fantasy baseball in a serious league knows what I'm talking about. We know the players,..whose hot..who's not...who's the backup shortstop for the Tampa Bay Devils.....The problem is I know baseball better then college hoops but I can't for the life of me handicapp it.I know my pitchers and yesterday played my top ones. What an opening day...for me

Loved Smotlz over my Phillies ..same -1.5 won
Loved ,love Hernandez and won big ..also two team parlay with Minnys Santana
Love Halladay and won..
Took the yankees for opening day..leary of Kaz but won big
Won with lackey and the angels..
Loved Oswalt and the Stro's ..finally lost
Took carpenter and the cards and lost.
Opening day...6-2..not bad..lost a 5 team parly by one with Oswalt..that hurt..
will do a little baseball.not much..will post a few and watch you guys..
looking at todays pitchers on the 2nd day..pretty amazing..no top throwers
Wells is the cards No 2 starter..Other then Peavy-Zito there are no solid pitchers today...maybe Blanton but he gives up almost 5 runs per game..maybe be back later..or pass today..
