Let me see if I get this straight. A team that just got beat 30-3 and whose fans were kicked out in masses, two sections cleared, gets to play in the "Conference Championship" game? Neato. :spotting:
I am so glad college football has become like AYSO kids soccer league, where everyone gets a trophy and gets to participate. That's so nice.
I mean, where else but the Big 12 could you already play a team, get beat by them by 27 points and get another opportunity to "be a winner." What other conference would allow you to LOSE three games and STILL win because 3 other teams were 4-4 and the others even WORSE?
Only in the Big 12 can you suffer a 62-36 season ending loss just before going to the BCS championship game. Only in the Big 12 you can lose your conf. championship game by 28pts and still go go to the BCS NC game. Sign me up to play int he Big 12 where everyone is a winner!
Oh yes, Texas. Goodness, how proud they must be to win such a conference. The conference of Chokelahoma, loser Colorado (nice Fiesta against Oregon) and Nebraska. Missing persons report filing needed for the Nebraska program, as rumor has it they used to be somebody. That leaves Texas, whose Rose Bowl win broke a string of bowl and big game futility perhaps unmatched anywhere.
