My sister lives in Eureka, 27 miles from the epicenter - she said the walls at her friend's house were moving and pictures on the walls and vases on the mantle fell and were displaced. They ran outside, then ran back inside because all the electrical poles were shaking so bad. So much for all that earthquake training in elementary school, eh. She had to leave her friend's house because they were in the tsunami zone. There was no structural damage to her own house either.

glad to see no problems with your sister hh & that there weren't any deaths or much property damage with other people....
