i feel like a monday morning QB today. volfan, not that I care about BC and they did lose some bad games, but they also went to NCST and pretty much handed them their ass. nothing better than head-to-head competition. somebody mentioned about tenn losing to westvirginia, well so did florida....they only lost there last three games/didn't even make their conference semis/and they get rewarded with probably the No.1 two seed.?????????
what i don't understand is how Pitt ended up in with Kentucky. basically they are saying that Pitt is the worse No.2 seed. I really think they had a case for the last No.1. however, they have nobody to blame but themselves because their out of conference schedule sucks. the only team they played was georgia and lost easily. still should of been the No.2 in the south or east. syracuse is better off in the three seed and potential almost a home game in albany.
what credence is put into these conference championships, obviously nothing. the only one that truly benefited was oklahoma. how about illinois? playing some of the best bball right now and your reward is to be shipped out west in a brutal bracket.
what about texastech. beat one of the committees no.1 seed texas and could of beat oklahoma saturday. also, they did win early against them but the clock operator screwed them. my point is that when deciding on the last at large teams, one would think they want teams in the tournament that are capable of winning a big game or upset. know? does one think auburn could beat texas or possible hang with oklahoma twice? doubt it. and also, the committe love the big 12 too.
love the conversations.
