I've said most of the year that I thought the Big East was overall better than the ACC this year.
At the same time, I'm just so tired of the comparisons. Its apples and oranges. Its 16 teams vs 12 teams and that makes it tough to compare.
More teams make it easier to have more great teams and the BigEast has 5-6 really good or great teams this year. That said, the ACC doesn't have anyone that sucks nearly as bad as DePaul, Rutgers, and South Florida. And teams like Providence and Cincinnati are garbage as well.
The big east has better teams in the tourney but a top to bottom comparison of the 2 conferences leaves a lot of room for discussion. I miss the days when most conferences had 8 teams...
