This year I did something new in college hoops.
My max Moneyline Parlay at OLY is $300.00

Every Time there Were at-least 3 -500 or greater Favs that I at-least liked to win the game I parlayed them on the money line.
Usually it was from 3-5 Teams risking $300.00 to win $242.50 or something in that Neigborhood. Sometimes it was $300.00 to win $315 depending on the # of teams and the size of the favs.

I made $27,800 doing this this college and pro hoops season.
I know everyone always says bet the teams that you like straight and you would have made more money. That is simply untrue.

A little more than half.. 53% of the moneyline plays did not cover the spread. I would have lost a fair deal of money just on juice.

I dont know about you guys but I just can not play a team +9 against a superior team who has the potential to win by 30. I like to take the -9 fav but of-course they only cover 1 out of 2 times. Otherwise everyone would just bet favs and we would all be rich.

A # of times 3 out 4 in my parlay would win 5 out of 6 out of 7 but I won 137 of my parlays and lost 36. I did not win a lot on them as I said each one was lucky to pay even money..

But I ask this ......If a parlay is $300.00 to win $197.00 dont you think that has a better chance than a staright bet of $330.00 to win $300.00.

One last thing to keep in mind. I saved myself alot of money by just not automatically putting in a Big ML Fav if I did not like the game. Knowing which teams you think could lose is obviously a big help! I know it sounds obvious but I do know college hoops as well as anyone and If I was going to lay 300 to win 200 on a parlay I had to be sure on all 3 or 4 teams shoulfd at-least win tnot cover.

Anyways Have a great NCAA Tourney.. I have 6 Parlays ready to go.. All big favs Matched up the ML.. Just gotta win..No covers needed..

Rememeber I Placed 90% winning teams in my parlays. Of the 90% winning teams less the half 47% covered.

Interesting System. . .

Interesting System. . .

I'm very impressed on the number of those that you placed, and even more so on how many you won! I love it! I've been following you among many others on here for a while, and haven't heard of this style before. You might call it: "Parlay Joe Public". I would also be interested in seeing which ones you were on during the tourney. Best of luck in whatever you do.

Thanx for that tip I did not know that.
About the 10 dime call up rule..
I kind of like the 300 cap on-line.
It keeps me from getting to wild

I've been playing combination ML / Straight play parlays, and ML only parlays for the last couple of years and have done fairly well with them. The last few weeks have been brutal though. I've managed to hit a few of the favorites during their conference tournaments who decided to bail out early.
They're fun though.
Good luck with your picks!

Interesting method Mistake Finder. But one thing I want to point out is, why not buy down the spread to -1? That way it's cheaper than the ML and thus higher payout. Really, what are the chances that these heavily favored teams that you tie up in parlays will win by exactly 1 point? In most cases I think not. GL to you.

For some reason, I have never done well with these types of ML parlays. I am a dog player mostly, and when I used to like big favs, I would roll them up in ML parlays. Just didnt work for me.

Maybe you could share a few!:)

ive played quite a bit of this parlays but after i while i left the -900 or more out of it, how can it really improve your odds? i think it only improves your odds in losing it. but i would like to hear comments about this.
