The Penn football teams weight room was under the stands at the Palestra.I shot my share of hoops on that floor between,before,after and sometimes even instead of lifting during my winter and springs there.Occassionally,checked coats there for beer money during Big Five games that I wanted to see that Penn wasn't playing in.Big five Basketball is a long and storied basketball tradition and all five schools have had their turns having great teams.Penn went undefeated in the Ivy League this year,and I say they surprise Okie State in round one,and that St.Joes handles Auburn.
