After being turned away at the door in Philly, the Stingers finally got over the hump on Sat. and put up a convincing win on their home floor. They did much of this without Mash, and with a hobbled Baron Davis, though Davis's #'s were not those of a hobbled man. The real key was the "other" players for New Orleans that stepped up and provided the spark they needed to get over that hump. Jerome Moiso provided BIG minutes with his defensive presence and surprising scoring. Though usually steady, I'm sure Paul Silas did not expect to get 35 points and 21 rebounds from the PJ Brown/Jamaal Magloire combination, including a staggering (especially the way these playoffs are going) 15-16 from the stripe. The Stingers did not get great production from David Wesley, who shot just 3-11 from the field, though all three were 3's. George Lynch did not have a great game either, but he has been a steady frontcourt presence, rebounding the ball very well and making some shots in the previous two games that were quite surprising. All in all, Philly shot better from the field, though they were dismal from beyond the arc, and the FT's were pretty even. It was the confidence of these "other" players, as well as a dominating frontcourt(51 rebs for NO and 33 for Philly in game 3) that won this game convincingly. These guys confidence is sky high, and they're at home again. I'll take New Orleans all day-

Stingers +1 ---4X;)
