This Dallas Stars team is vastly underachieving this year so far. They're 2-6-2 in last ten. When the Stars come to town. the Wild are always out to prove they ain't playin' second fiddle to their predecessors. Though the season records thus far are almost identical, the linemaker hasn't caught up to Dallas yet. The Wild are playing much better hockey than the Stars and should get the victory. Lay the -120 and worst case suffer a push -- can't envision Dallas visiting hostile territory and winning the game. The X will be rockin'...

I couldn't agree with you more about the Stars. Their D is average and their goaltending has been inconsistent all year. I had Minny circled. My boy Alex Daigle is playing quite well for your Wild with 7 goals to date. I spoke to him the other day and he said he has not had this much fun playing since the first year the Sens went to the playoffs. We are talking about 7 years ago. When the Wild come to town in December I will be hooking up with him as always. You guys I also have one of the best prospects in the AHL right now, Matt Foy. He played one year of OHL hockey with the Ottawa 67's last year and he finished second in scoring for the OHL behind his teammate Corey Locke who the Habs drafted this year in the 4th round. He was a man amongst boys on many nights. His first three strides are so explosive. He was one of the final two cuts this year for the Wild and he might get called at some point. I did a few articles on him last year and actually got to know him quite well. I stayed in touch with him during training camp and is enjoying his first year in Houston in the AHL. It will be only time before he is a regular in the Wild line-up. He comes from the perfect junior hockey background as he played both ends of the ice under Brian Kilrea as he was just inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Foy will fit into the Lemaire system quite well as the takes care of his own end first.
