Wood Memorial--I've got a Derby Futures bet on Buddha at 13-1 so I'm pulling for him, but he's no lock. Medaglio D'Oro will be favored and may be loose on the lead. The value may be in if one of those two wins, but the other is off the board. Sunday Break looks like a sleeper and I think I'll take 1-3 and 4-3 exactas. I hate Saarland who I feel will be overbet.

Blue Grass--Going to try and beat the favorite Harlan's Holiday who had a perfect trip in the Fla Derby. I think Azillion will be up fairly close and gets a big shot. Booklet also could be very tough if he clears Bob's Image. Straight Gin was 10 behind Azillion in the Spiral but some horses just can't handle Turfway.

Carter Handicap--Great race. Tons of speed in here: Snow Ridge, Rusty Spur, Run Kush Run, and Here's Zealous. Right now I'm leaning toward keying Affirmed Success and either Burning Roma or Dream Run (if inside is good) in trifectas. Peeping Tom won this race last year but just ran in Dubai 3 weeks ago so a bounce is likely. Snow Ridge is the horse to beat, and just beat Squirtle Squirt in California but I doubt he gets an easy lead today.

Other races:
Aqu 3rd: Sui Generis (10) loves the turf (7 for 21) and is a perfect 4 for 4 at 1 1/8 miles

Aqu 5th: Griffinite (8) already finished first at this NW3X level over the track, but was DQ'd

Aqu: 6th: Sandra's Song (3) was stuck behind a wire to wire winner at GP in last. Tagg is always tough on the turf.

Spt: 5th Fit to Be a Gent (4) hasn't won since 2000 but think he gets a perfect trip laying 2nd off Rocket Code, who's a cripple.
