Anyone else notice that the Big Ten is playing four of its match-ups versus teams playing in their home states. I might be going against the Big Ten in every game except Illinois. Any one else have any solid reasons to back any other Big Ten team. And yes I know Purdue killed Central Michigan the first time. Just don't see them being motivated to play a team they crunched by 23 the last time. Good luck to all.

Since most bowls are played in the south and indoors due to weather concerns in late december and early january, i would think most Big Ten teams would be playing far from home on an annual basis:shrug:

Ohio State seems to travel well or at least they did when they played in Tempe against the Thuggacanes

I'll be playing on a number of the Big 10 teams--I think they will be out to prove that the conference is not as weak as everyone thinks.

I like Michigan State, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and OSU---all underdogs! I lsee close games with all of those teams with MSU, Wisky, and OSU winning straight up.

Teams playing in their home state.

Teams playing in their home state.

I know Big Ten teams normally play on the road but I thought it was highly unusual for them to be playing in four games where the other team is playing in their home state. Does anybody have any stats on teams that play their bowl games in their home state versus the spread. Thanks for any input.
