This is the biggy game of the day in the Big Ten. This should be a real dog fight folks. But I don't give a damn if it is Duke walking into Mackey arena in West Lafayette. They will LOSE!!! Purdue is unbeatable at home! AVG winning by +14.2 ppg. Beating Michigan State by 12 and IU by a whooping +22, who's gonna forget that anytime soon!!

Purdue heads to Northwestern Wed Feb 12
This will be a interesting game to watch, Purdue coming off a body slam defeat and looking at Illinois this Saturday and Michigan coming up. Purdue may be looking ahead of the game in front of them.

A few words from Purdue's General...

On the Northwestern game...
"We have respect for them. Before they defeated Indiana, I told many people that they were going to beat someone up there that no one expects them to. They are a well coached team with a very good system. You have to be ready to play them. If you overlook them, they'll beat you by 15, 16, 20 points. We understand that you have to go in there and play hard, play smart, and play unselfishly. Minnesota was saying we were a must-win game for them. This is a must-win game for us if we are going to get into the NCAAs and make a run for a championship."

This Illinois team is playing very very good basket ball and will beat Purdue straight up.

These 2 teams match up very well in every category except ONE

Brian Cook, All American Big Ten Player of the Year, as Brian goes so do the Illini,

Illinois will spread the court and set up a rain of threes from the outside, releasing Cook on the inside.

This will be a good game to watch, but to me it is 2 teams heading in opposite directions.....Illinois on the Road +2

They are scrappy...There home court is a plus in this game but.

Iowa has riener back and they beat penn st at pennstate by 20 a week and a half ago without reiner. Reiner will be able to keep johnson off the boards. Iowa is bad but penn st. is worse than bad. There are no words that can discribe how bad they are on the road.

Agree with you on the wisconsin game though really like that play.
