Big Ten Record
11-2-1

Today we only have 1 game before the big game

Michigan State @ Michigan -- almost as big a rivalry as IU/Purdue.

Here's how I see it

Michigan is 5-0 in Big Ten 3-0 at home in conference games
Beat the following at home
Minny by 12
Penn State by 13
Wisc by 1

Michigan State 2-3 in Big Ten 0-3 on the road conference games

Gotten beaten on the road by the following
Iowa by 4
Purdue by 12
Minny by 8

Also they have only won 1 road game which was Kentucky by 4
So they have won 1 out of 6 road games

So I am taking

MICHIGAN +1.5 2x 440/400

RIVALRY, HOME TEAM,PUMPED FANS,MICHIGAN WANTS TO KEEP LEAD IN BIG TEN!!! THAT"S ENOUGH FOR ME!!

LOCKED AND LOADED!!!:firing: :firing: :firing: :firing:

I'm thinking about playing this one big as well. . . Michigan on a real high lately since they have gotten their stuff together. Playing confident basketball which has lacked the last four years these teams have played each other. I just keep thinking about how these guys must feel going into this one. If there's one win all year long that Michigan would want, it would have to be this one. And finally after four years, they have the team that can get it done by how they are playing. We're dealing with two streaks here. . . Michigan's win streak vs. Michigan State's win streak against Michigan.

Make no mistake about it, I think Michigan wants this one more and they've gotta feel confident given their play in 2003.

I think they do have their stuff together for sure since conference plays started. They started the season horribly, but they are getting it done now. I really think they would like to win the big 10, even though it doesn't matter thanks to chris webber. Mainly because that is the only thing they can play for. This is a very big Rivalry game for them and they are due!! I know Izzo is gonna be prepared, but going into somebody's else court where the fans completely hate u, it is a pretty ugly scene. Did u see the purdue fans today, they could take out Saddam by theirselves if u piss them off. Michigan's main rivalry games are Michigan State, and Indiana always very big games.

It will prob be close, hell state might even win by a pt, but u got to love getting a point and half at home.

I've never been to keen on michigan fans i know they have come back since this streak. My youngest son talked to one of the top senior @ michigan who said early on he wasn't looking forward to this game but now that everyone is clicking this is the biggest game of his career. This is the team they promised him when he signed with michigan GO BLUE! gl

Countinguy agree with you on the Michigan/Mich.St. game. I see this one setting up just like the Purdue/IU game.
1.Home Game
2. Biggest Rival
3. Mich./Purdue 2 teams that have been down making a return to competing again.
4. Mich.St./IU 2 teams that were playing better in the start of the season, now struggling somewhat.

I feel the Big 10 is a very balanced conference and the home court is very valuable. For Purdue's sake I need Mich. St. to win this game but I just don't see it happening. Gonna go with the hot team at home getting points. Good Luck

Be very careful with this one guys. None of the players on this Michigan team have ever played MSU closer than 15 points. UM has one big weakness, interior depth. MSU is loaded with big men.

Even more importantly, MSU has been trashed in print lately, with writers/radio hosts speculating that "UM has taken the state back". MSU will come out VERY fired up. This is the only meeting this year and Sparty doesn't want to hear all offseason that UM is back on top.

I will lay off this one, and I'm the biggest Michigan fan you'll meet. Just one man's opinion......

COuldn't agree with cwood more!!! I too am a huge Michigan fan, and I plan on laying the -1.5 with MSU. This team has gotten trashed in the press and on the airwaves, and I see this game as being a turning point for them to show everyone...hey...we can still play. The talent is there at Michigan St., it;s just a matter of it coming together. I know the Wolverines have won 12 straight, but just don;t see it happening today against the Spartans as much as I hate to say it.

Hopefully, they prove me wrong.

My 2 cents..........
Ballanger was a very big force for the Spartins last 2 years.
He has lost it this year. Had 5 points last game. Hate to put it all on one guy but he is a SR and someone they looked up to...

Untill he gets his ship together.....I just wont trust Mich St.

I hate to jump on with everyone else, but the home croud will be hopping....Mich a small play

I rarely do this, but I just looked at line again it went up 2 points, wow, didn't think that would have happened or I would have waited til today to bet.

But anyways adding 2 units on

Michigan +3.5
