Some reasons why Indiana should cover tonight:
Seems like everyone is on Mich yet the line moves up 2 points.
Mich has a good ATS record, but their schedule is weaker.
Mich has played 4 road conf games. They beat Ohio St when Ohio St had those injuries. They beat Northwestern, big deal (IU's loss notwithstanding). They lost at Ill and Minn.
IU starts a 3 game road trip Sat. They will win this game, the obvious question is by how much.
IU is going to pick up the tempo as they have been walking the ball up with Coverdale and he has been fighting a lot of full and 3/4 court pressure which has frustrated and tired him and affected his shooting. He is 1-14 from 3pt range in last 2 games.
IU is going to start Strickland at the point with Perry subbing for him. Coverdale will move to the shooting guard with Hornsby coming off of the bench. Wright will play the 3 like usual and he is almost back to 100% from his back injury.
Davis said he saw immediate results in practice and Coverdale was a different player coming off screens and getting better shots.
IU lives by the 3pt shot and they will be raining 3's tonight.
Best bet may be IU in the first half, but I still think they will get a double digit win.
