wow, such a diversity of people. it takes a while to get a feel here at madjack's.
and what you see is what you get. learn to make the most of it if you only look, throw something positive our way if you would like to share. once you get a good feel for handicapping, jump in on fletcher, raymond, whomever, explain why you think it may go the other way, but do it positively. they will see it, but not change their picks, but you will highlight something maybe raymond or fletcher or whomever missed and maybe help someone else.
definitely different personalities/approaches. raymond has a large following. judging by the length of some of his threads and comments. fletcher also has his. they both post and that is it, although i think fletch did post his record a couple of days ago (that was for the irs).
kevin did a humongous write-up on the montreal game today. he took the time to give us his main selection and explain why. he also suggested the under, so....evaluate the person, reputation, etc., and then verify for your own satisfaction the scenario he put in front of you and use that pick he gave you to either agree or disagree with him. what you do with it is completely at your discretion.
i personally do not follow anybody, but will read an analysis and write them, usually on sundays only, as time is at a premium. i must admit that kevin's tonight started to give me a headache, what with all the details, but the guy had a very strong opinion, and showed us all the different angles and how they all pointed to montreal and the under suggestion.
you asked the question, wisher4, got your answers and understood. i have a feeling you will get a lot of enjoyment here and be around for a while.
