M. Mulder vs D. Williams

Mulder will get his first win for the Cardinals tom. (at least I hope so) I think Cardinals outclass the Pirates here in pitching and hitting and the price is only -150. I'll take it and pound it for my biggest MLB bet of the year.

If Mulder is off pitching, there is decent chance the powerful lineup for Cards can overcome it. If the hitting is not on for Cardinals, Mulder very well could be on his game. I am predicting a lot of runs for Cards and Mulder pitching a gem.

Mulder is an ace type pitcher
Williams is 5th starter and might not even belong in the Pirates pitching rotation. Clear cut advantage for Cardinals is this game.

good luck scott. aren't you a little concerned with mulder's efforts so far this year. just think its really tough to put a ton of money on one game where a pitcher can get injured and really mess up one game. i agree that the cardinals have a big edge in this matchup with mulder against williams but i couldn't pull the trigger on one baseball game thats all im saying. hope it hits for you though

mulder is a mental case right now admitted it after his last loss said he made stupid mistakes. in his last game all the runs he gave up were with 2 outs. williams has pitched well against the cards. personally would not touch it good luck to you.

Well game about to start and looks like $$$ be poured on Pitt. Big line moves and Cards are now -140. :scared I still like Cards and keeping my bet. Remember, if I lose, its roughly 30% of my winnings of the last 2 months. So I am taking big gamble but if I lose I am still ok. But hopefully Cards win big and I don't have to sweat it out. Mulder should bounce back but if he doesn't, hopefully Cards offense comes through. Best of luck to everyone on the Cards! Lets win this!

This guy is costing me the game. He just made an error at the plate to give Pirates run. I can't beleive it. Perfect throw from Sanders to home plate and this guy f***'s it up.

On top of that, he came up to bat earlier in game with 1 out guy on third and he failed. Screw this guy.

2 huge hits by Cards onto warning track and 2 great catches by Pirates. :cursin: Cards easily should have 2 more runs. Only thing going for me is Mulder pitching well. Breaks are going against me.

4 more innings to go!

EDIT: Make that 3 warning track blasts by the Cards. = 3 outs

EDIT2: OMG, Molina held onto the ball this time! Congrats! 2-1 Cards! Should be 2-0 if freaking Molina holds onto ball. Ok, time to bust out the bats so I can go out to dinner!
