Bill and O were at healthcare pep ralley together today and had some time alone for 1st time.

They were chuckling and discussing how they had got where they were solely on rhetoric and politics and which was the true king of grifters.

Went something like this--

Bill--Hell O look at my roots--father was drunk-mother found last husband at race track--had to pardon my brother for dealing coke.Hell I was even a Rhodes scholar and most I ever earned in civilian life was $36,000.

O--Ain't shit Billy Bob - look at my roots-ditto on father--mother was on Kenya tourist map under recreation. They tossed me like a used condom.
-and not sure who my relatives are but do know some are here illegally.
I never earned squat and was in hock up the wazzou until the fixer-Ayers and Wright took me under their wings. So I'd say I'm king of the grifters Billy.

Billy- Not yet Gumby--you got to con them and get voted another term to even be considered--and might be tough since ya ain't fullfilled one campaign promise yet.

O--What do you mean-I kept 2 promises for certain--
I took Michele to the opera and got the kids a dog.

IMO I'd like to see the president be successful at something beside political rhetoric

I think it goes a lot toward character--we founds Billys true calling--School still out on O.

But I can tell you if he ever applied for job at my place and blamed all his failures on someone else--I'd tell him to take his excuses and go elsewhere. He applied for job to solve problems not whine about them--sheez--hmm forgot-like father/like son

Wayne, in this case, I think you are completely full of shit. You ridicule black people from the lower class (in all cases) for not trying to better themselves and improve - and then ridicule Obama when he becomes successful - after completing many important things in life. Clinton was looked at as a very good President in many ways - most ways, other than by conservatives. He had a transgression - and you label him with that. And then you defend someone like Dubbya, who had a complete string of personal failures - drug and alcohol abuse, complete failure in business (every business he was a part of), personal avoidance of military duties - using his father to get him out of them, a complete joke of a communicator and an embarrassment every time he opens his mouth.

Was this post you made done in some kind of drunken or drug induced euphoric moment? Was it your attempt at some kind of Jon Stewart humor? Was it copied from some Web site?

I ask as a courtesy to you, because it was incredibly lame, and not even worthy of what I usually give you credit for. :shrug:

And the fact he is met with uniform opposition from the right, no matter what the issue is, nor who speaks out against it, doesn't mean he isn't trying to solve problems. It would not matter WHAT he came out for, he would be ridiculed by you, your buddies here, and every right wing hypocrite on the docket.

When he points out the uniform political opposition from right wingers, you say he's whining. I say it's pointing out the obvious. Not saying it's unique - I just think its funny, when you complained the exact opposite way every week when Bush was the leader. Whatever works for you, right?

Now -one more comparison on Bill & O you may want to ponder.

When Billy was elected in 1992 he had 258 dems in the house and 57 in senate

When O was elected he had
257 in house and 57 in senate.

Billy proceeded to try and push healthcare reform-raise taxes in the midst of recession

He lost 50 seats in house and 7 in senate in mid term--in the greatest change of congress in history.

O doing same thing--in spades
