System liked 3 games today but 2 where kicked out because of qfactor problems.

The one selection for today is:

FSU -2 1/2 should be 3 point dog in UMASS.
This is a strange selection for my system it usually rejects a selection when they are one of the bottom 2 teams in a conference. I always bet the same amount but may go bigger.

The 2 selections that where rejected because of problem with q rating are :

WF -8 and Ohio St. - 8 1/2

Repeat their is only 1 selection today and it is Florida State - 2 1/2

Ohio State should be a 5 point favorite vegas made line 8 1/2. Their q factor has dropped more than Indiana in the last 2 weeks. Might mean the buckeyes could be a little worn out.

By the way 4 of the last 5 games the qfactor threw out won despite the q rating.

curious to know if you have kept a record for games thrown out by the q factor over the course of the season?

also, wondering what your reasoning would be for uping the amount of the play on fsu? i know you said they were at the bottom of the conference and your system rarely shoots games with teams like this out, but has it happened before and it won, or is it just because it is a new situation, or....?

To the best of my knowledge this is the first cellar dwellar it has picked. It may lose but because of oddity I have to bet more, may not happen again :sadwave:

I dont keep any records but i would believe the use of q factor is helpfull but needs work. As stated in previous posts by other members, its hard to rate a team that plays a slow tempr a deliberate offence.

Billy, how do you see South Carolina as home dog v Kentucky. That line seems ridiculously low, and I came up with SC as a play, as this game looks a lot like TTech as home dog v Kansas last night. Granted Tech is better than SC, but the circumstances are eerily similar, including opening line.

Billy-I don't know that we've posted to you since your first post but since we've watched you very closely and appreciate your insite.You've added a new twist to MadJacks and I think it's helped my capping I'm finally looking at both sides of the coin. :clap:

To me Vegas is begging you to bet UConn, off a loss to UNC -3 in Prov? Want to take Prov, whats the system say? I thought for sure this would be one of your plays. :shrug:
