...for shit sake, I just cannot stand that guy.

He goes on and on how it is supposed to be a higher scoring game.

He keeps saying that they should try to get Redick a shot with 5 minutes left in the game despite the fact that he couldnt throw it in the ocean.

And the worst part, was the Nick Collison suck off. Look, Collison is a nice player. Yes, Duke has nothing inside. Yes, he played a great game last night. But how many turnovers did he have? And every time, Packer blamed it on someone else. The best one though was when Collison got the ball shoved back in his face on a weak move to the basket and then moved 2 ft to pick it up, Packer exclaims "The alertness of Collison to go and retrieve the ball." What? Or when he zings the ball into the first row, and Packer says "Graves will be able to be in the right place to catch that ball with a little more seasoning." What? He'll be in the first row.

I just cannot stnad him. He is so stupid. I am certain that 99% of the people on here could provide more enlightening commentary than these morons they have call these games.

comparable to Mike Patrick doing a Duke home game. Guy crawls up the Dukies dookie for the whole telecast.

You are right .... Billy "Fudge" Packer has got to be the most annoying announcer on TV (even worse than Vitale). The best part was the ACC loving boy was forced to eat crow as his Dukies went down. Can't listen to him anymore as we turn down the TV and listen to the radio whenever he is doing a game.

Collison is more than a nice player, he is a very good player that is more than likely going to be a very good power forward in the NBA. Exceptional footwork, hands, low-post moves, runs the court well...he's one of the 5 best players in college.

He had 5 turnovers last night. That to go along with 4 assists..not good but not too bad of a ratio for an interior player. He goes for 33pts, 19 boards, 4 assists, 3 blocks, and single handedly won the game for Kansas...how much can Packer criticize when Collison turns the ball over a few times?

Having said that, I can't stand Packer either.

Agree with you on Packer but not Collison. His performance last night was as good as any you'll see in the Tournament. He was setting picks, drawing charges, going to the hole and using his left hand, making great passes for easy dunks, scoring, rebounding on both ends, etc. Almost the same type of performance when he schooled our ass this year.

Not knocking Collison's game last night, it was outstanding. He is a great college player.

He will not be a good pro player, in my opinion. Will get eaten up since he is too slow and has little outside game.

Wow, I am not a Kansas fan, but collison is a fantastic player. He has amazing hands and his footwork is tremendous. He is going to be one hell of an NBA player.

I would have to say Collison will be a very good NBA player. He single handedly beat Duke last night.

Can't stand fudgie Packer either.

Disagree again. :D

Did you get a chance to see what Drew Gooden did in the League this year? Not bad. Similar inside game but Collison is a better outside shooter than Gooden.

I echo everyone else's comments on his footwork. It's tremendous.

This not a homer reply, living in Kansas. I bet against Kansas every chance I get the opportunity.

That last sentence "too slow".

Nick Collison = Scott Pollard

Not even close. Pollard actually has turned into a good reserve center/power forward, but he didn't and still doesn't have the refined offensive skills that Collison has. Collison is a guy you can draft, sign and stick him into the 4 spot for the next ten years and get 16pts and 9 boards per game.
