So much info on this game Its Texas senior day and they have lost 7 of last 9 senior day games...to show you how bad Texas is that this morning playing racquetball 3 of my buddies offered me a free ticket to todays game..its raining,cold and damp and the game starts at 11.00 central time...nobody wants to go..this is Tech
" super bowl" game even going 4-7 if they beat UT this will be successful season.. Texas is missing Johnson there best wr..there defense is terrible regardless of who they play..lets not forget Kansas had almost 500 yds of total offense vs this defense...Dorothy had less yds caught in the tornado..Hemann the coach of Texas is on the hot seat..he will fire maybe 3 of his coaches after todays game... Texas motto was " "we are back" after beating Georgia in a bowl game last year has backfired... your right.. we are back and still suck...Tech has lost 3 or 4 of its last games by 3 or 4 points..think they lose but it should be close...Crowd will be small,nothing to play for except a low level bowl game,defense is bad and offense has no running backs.. Erl hasn't had a good game in awhile..they are so predictable think Tech keeps this close and just maybe if Longhorns come out flat Red Raiders who have won last 2 times in Austin pull an upset..

Last yr they struggled vs RU and won 20-7 after being -28..the 2 years before they won 35-6 and 39-0.. but after last weeks Ohio St game think Franklin will have no mercy on the Scarlet Nites...

Coastal -7 over Texas St *****
Coastal qb avgs 63% Peyton completion rate.. has 1,400 yds and 11 tds.. has Marable a rb with over 900 yds and 10 tds plus another 300 yds and 3 td's receiving. has 3 wr's with all 3 over 3-4 tds each... Texas defense will have problems all day... and Texas qb Vitt has more interceptions 11 then td's 9...no running backs and an offense that avgs 18 pts a game...Coastal wins this by 2-4 td's.. they beat Troy a few weeks ago 36-35 and I watched Troy destroy Tex St 62 to something...

UAB-North Texas over 49.5 **
Think NT qb Fine who holds about 4 or 5 passing records comes out swinging...NT defense is bad and there is no bowl after 4-7 record..so think UAB will score but have a tough time containing Fine in his last college career game

Army-Hawaii over 55 ****
Love the over.. Bows can pass and score ,Army defense has been terrible but so has offense but Bows can't stop the option so think they breakout with a huge offensive game...last yr army won at home 28-21.. I do remember years ago Army going out to the island and losing 60-30 and 48-44,,something like that ..think its a big scoring game.. Army does have Navy next so they might get caught looking ahead ,,in the past Army always schedules a weak team before the Navy game...North Texas,Morgan St,Colgate..but this year the Bows aren't to bad...

LSU -17 over Texas AM *****
Think this is a blowout.. this is for style points or what ever...Ohio St has passed them in that crazy rankings...after last years 8 overtime game where AM won 74-72..they year before AM won 45-21 and the yr before that 54-39..AM has been running up the score on them...but that time is over... Tigers come out smoking and will run it up if they can...think Tigers want everyone to know that they are No 1...and they have the talent to back it up this yr..

Owls last yr beat them 57-7..think this year the same.. Huskies defense is so bad

Baylor -14 over Kansas ***
Last yr Bears beat them 26-7..Bears are still not out of final 4 picture but its looks bad...but a big win today and then another possible win vs Oklahoma in the B-12 final and they still have a slim chance making it to the final 4,,,but think they dominate KU and if they can pour it on.

Clemson -27.5 ovr So Car **
They are in but again style points for what seed they are in...Dabo has beaten their rival last yr 56-35,the yr before 34-10 and 56-7...just worried about a backdoor...

TAM offense vs good teams avg only 18 pts a game.LSU ranks No 2 in the country on offense...Burrows in 2nd in the country passing with over 4,000 yds ,they have a rb and wr with over 1,000 yds each. AM will run nickel and dime defenses but Burrow will have protection since he already completes 79% of his passes with 41 tds ...Helaire there running back has 100 yd games in his last 4..you have so many factors,revenge from last yr,Heisman, a home,final 4 etc LSU defense is outstanding,,

Although you have 2 losing teams at 3-8 and 4-7 and Chants have lost 3 in a row and 6 of last 7 still like them over the Bobcats..3 of those losses were by 3 points or less.. Chants use 2 qb's and have a few different looks..they go spread,veer,wishbone,shot gun,split there 2 backs etc...so they are tough to defend..Payton is the pocket passer with 1,300 yds and 11 tds and Carpenter the " ground threat" with over 380 yds..and 600 yds passing..Tx defense will have trouble I think today trying to stop them..Chants defense is somewhat suspect but vs Bobcats qb Vitt and his rb's who are so inconsistent...think Coastal playing at home can win this by over a td..

Army-Hawaii over .
Although the Bows have only scored 14 and 21 pts in wins over San D St and UNLV in last 2 think they get back to scoring 42,26,37 and 54 from a few weeks ago..meanwhile Army thinks its found its offense scoring 47 and 63 in last 2 but that was vs Umass and VMI,.. Army defense will be tested today and think both teams will move the ball. Lewis has replaced Hopkins at qb..think Bows will have trouble stopping the option..

I won a 5 team parlay with the 5th game being Army-Haw over ...it was for a lot so even hedge 1/4th of the play and took the under...with 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter the game was over and I went to bed..don't think I have ever in my life went to sleep with so much money still alive on the board..all I know was that these 2 defenseless teams could score on each other...think I slept well... looking at Green Bay -6.5 over my Giants..hate going against my Jints but we suck...think I'm making a huge play taking Green Bay...don't like pro football..will play a few props and fantasy but will take Green Bay -6.5 over Giants *****
