Well guys, I'm 0 for 3 so far tonight with 4 games to go. Looks like a lot of popular picks are falling by the wayside. This is my worst start to a week since Lassie was a pup.

Make that 0 for 4, with Richmond BLOWING a 20 point lead with 7 minutes to go.

I have 3 more plays to go, looks like a -$2800 day!

Final tally: 1 - 6 for the day, at 4 units each.

-2240 OUCH

Losers with:
Rutgers, 14' point fav that loses outright
Wake +4, never had a chance
Richmond -10, blew a 20 point lead in last 7:00, win by 6
SMU +15, get BLOWN out by 38
Pepperdine -10, blow a 2nd half lead of 25, win by 6
San Diego +7, leading scorer leaves before 1/2 with concussion

WIN with:

UNLV =3, had to sweat it out at the end. Dog wins S/U

This season is quickly becoming NO FUN. For all of those that are + units on the year, CONGRATS. Seems like my 'faves' lay down in the 2nd half, and my 'dogs' never get going. What's a poor guy to do??

My advice would be to decrease your unit size as well as your units played per game until you get going again. The most important thing is to not chase (that is the hardest part, and something I'm still guilty of even though I know it's a bad idea).

Also, if you can stomach it, try to look back at the games you lost and try and determine where you made a mistake in your capping. It may be that your capping is off or it may be perfect and you've just had a series of bad beats (i.e. you can never cap blowing a 20 pt. lead with 7 minutes to go).

College hoops can be absolutely brutal and unforgiving at times. We've all been there. Just keep your head up and you will pull out of it!
