(Ticker) - Just after Nikolai Khabibulin returned from an injury, the slumping Chicago Blackhawks are again without their goaltender.

Khabibulin will be out from four to six weeks because of a knee injury suffered in Friday's 4-1 loss to Minnesota. An MRI on Saturday confirmed the sprained knee.

The goaltender for the 2004 Stanley Cup-winning Tampa Bay Lightning, Khabibulin just came back from a groin injury. He played in the last two games after sitting out 10 contests.
A member of the Russian Olympic Team, Khabibulin is 12-18 with a 3.32 goals-against average in 33 games this season.

Chicago has dropped 14 of its last 17 games and have scored just 35 goals in that stretch.

The Blackhawks recalled goaltender Corey Crawford from Norfolk of the American Hockey League to fill the hole in the net. A second-round pick in 2003, Crawford has played in 25 games for the Admirals, posting a 12-12-1 record with a 2.80 goals-against average.

Chicago hosts Minnesota on Sunday.
