How many games a day do you see blown saves in the 9th innings. I had San Diego un 9 sore was 4-2 in favor of San Diego and hofferman gives up 4 runs in the 9th inning killing the under. He gets millions of dollars to pitch 1 inning maybe 2 tops and can't hold on to a lead unbelevible

I got burned yesterday on the detroit pick..what else could go wrong?? Damn, and i actually had a good day selecting winners, it's just the ones that i thought were locks didn't come through.

First of all, I had the Padres AND the under in this game, so it was a double whammy for me. However, the statement: "He gets millions of dollars to pitch 1 inning maybe 2 tops and can't hold on to a lead unbelevible" is kind of ignorant. Hoffman has the best save percentage for a reliever in the HISTORY of baseball. He is also human. Yes, this was a bitter loss, but if I have my loot riding on a guy of my choice to close out the 9th, I pick Hoffman without hesitation. Bad beat, but that's the way it goes sometimes. We'll get em tommorow....

Nah...Sorry Trampled, but you're wrong. I've never complained about a loss and I never will. It's part of the game. That's why it's called "gambling." I've lost plenty of games before, and I'll lose plenty more in the future. Has nothing to do with the teams invloved. I've been at this too long to blame a loss on a particular team or a particular player. After awhile, you learn that you make a decision, you live with it. Next game! Act like you've been there...

Hoffman has blown just 13 of 159 save chances since 1998......kinda like those percentages.....
