Don't know how interested I am in in a publication that has KU at #6. I can understand putting MSU and UK above them, and maybe, MAYBE Duke. But Arizona and Louisville. That shit is just laughable.

Excellent read to help cap in college buckets and used religiously by many astute cappers.

Thanks for the info, Shawn!! :0074

Blue Ribbon year in and year out is the best book available for hoops, but since your team is not top four they must not be worth the read. :mj07:

Another way to receive the Blue Ribbon preview is to become an ESPN insider member. no sure of the exact cost but I believe that it is around $35 a year. In addition to their espn insider content you also get the blue ribbon preview in the NCAA hoops section. It's not a bad deal at all.

As a hoops capper I rely on the BR yearbook heavily over the first month of a season when teams are just beginning to build their resume.

I remember seeing a picture or cut-in to the ESPN gameday crew watching/prepping for their selection show. In front of Jay Bilas was a Blue Ribbon magazine.

BR is the best of the best when it comes to college hoops. there isnt a better publication out there.

KU is overrated, as always. said it last year and its the same thing this year. they have a great recruit, so what. theyll have a good regular season with all sorts of hype (best case scenario) and flame out in the tourney as per usual.

Your thought process is reflected in your writing style. Sloppy and disorganized. This Kansas team will prove you wrong. It's sure going to be a nice ride. I hope you lose lots of money fading them in the tourney. :)

i'd rather be 'sloppy and disorganized' than blinded by bias I have of my favorite team. I also dont wish money loss on people because they have a different opinion on how good a team is.

nobody said anything about fading them, but since you brought it up, Kansas has been a profitable fade in the tourney for 4 years.

Blinded by bias. Yeah, that's me. :mj07: If you looked at my betting history, you would see that is never the case. I am betting against my alma mater this weekend in fact.

So you're telling me you won a bunch two years ago when KU made the national championship game with a nothing squad?

There are at least two lottery picks on this Kansas team, including the kid who many consider to be the best prospect since LeBron. Bill Self has only had one other squad that even approached this team's talent. That team just happened to beat Derrick Rose for the title in one of the best championship games ever.

Self + Loaded with Talent = Championship

Like I said, have fun fading them in the tourney this year. :0corn

I dont know where you come up with me making anything on them by fading them. I said they were over rated last year, they were. I said they were a profitable fade the last 4 seasons in the tourney, that is a fact. check the scores and the closing lines.

they have 2 lottery picks? great. Indiana had 2 top 5 picks in the 2013 draft. who the fuck cares how many draft picks anyone has? chemistry and coaching win in college. Kansas is young and will struggle come tourney time, like all young teams. Kentucky managed it one year with a bunch of youth and they were absolutely loaded.

the hilarious thing is they havent played a single game together with the new "lebron james" and you are already crowning them.

as for their title many moons ago vrs Rose....self had a veteran team. I think there was 1 freshman on the team and he didnt see many minutes.

all the talent in the world doesnt mean shit unless they can play together.
