Ryan Boatright, who sprained his left ankle in the waning seconds of Sunday?s loss to Texas, had X-rays taken on Monday afternoon that revealed no structural damage.
However, UConn?s leading scorer didn?t practice on Tuesday and his status for Friday?s bout with Yale at Gampel Pavilion is undetermined.
Boatright turned his ankle with about six minutes left in the Huskies? eventual 55-54 loss to the Longhorns at Gampel. He never left the game, but on the final play ? a game-winning 3-pointer by Texas?s Jonathan Holmes with 2.2 seconds left ? Boatright aggravated the injury while trying to get out to guard Holmes. He went through some walking drills on Tuesday and received treatment, but did not participate fully in practice.
Omar Calhoun (knee) did practice on Tuesday.
