this is for you....there have been 3 games in preseason so far in which one side got a prohibitive amount of the action:
. steelers-jets(mostly pitt)
skins-panthers(mostly skins at 7.5)
tampa-miami(many got tampa at over 4)....
in all three cases the books cleaned up....your hoops thread on consensus` opened my eyes and i have now started accumulating a decent stake for the regular season....have decided to go almost strictly with this format this season(it`s hard to go against so many sound opinions from solid cappers but the books are in business to make money,and make money they do)....once again,thanks...

I actually was on all 3 of the sides that you talked about above and have gone 1-0-2 in those games. I honestly don't think that you can make much money going against heavy action on this board. It just seems that way right now after a three game history.

i am not doing a strict,by the numbers type thing like you did for hoops....but,i monitor this board and 2 others(this is probably the sharpest) and when i see an overwhelming opinion,i`m going against it....everybody likes to think they aren`t the "squares"(i hate that term,it is usually used by the real losers)but most on these boards(including myself)are not pro`s and are not privy to any special insight...many are solid cappers who do their work...i am only addressing games that seem to be universally perceived as "obvious plays".....best of luck this year.

GL2U as well. My record is actually 0-1-2 on those games. I don't like fading or going opposite everyone unless there is solid reasoning behind it. Too much bad kharma
