From Brian Quintana's lawsuit against Paris Hilton to the current president George W. Bush's inspirations and the State of the Union address, Bodog.com has posted celebrity and political odds for your non-sport betting needs.

On January 31st President Bush is scheduled to deliver his State of the Union address speech. With barely two weeks ahead of him to prepare for this one hour long uninterrupted speech, and with a political climate that is reeling from the recent news of the domestic-surveillance program that hit the front pages of the New York Times, the President and his strategists seem to be saying, Bring it on!

So as Bush prepares to overwhelm his critics and strongly defend his practices as a legitimate part of presidential warmaking power, care to bet on how many times Bush will make reference in his speech to the Patriot Act, Iraq and the term 'Evil' and how many standing ovations wil Bush receive?

Bodog allows you to not only bet on sports, but also entertainment and politics. Currently, they have wagers available for the Golden Globes, the Grammys, and such ground breaking concerns as "Will Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have a baby girl or boy?"

You can wager on business: Will Apple discontinue the iPod Shuffle by July 4, 2006? ("Yes" is slightly favored). Also in the pool, politics. In President George W Bush's 2006 State of the Union address, how many times will the President say the words: Patriot Act?

0-2 times - 2/1
3-5 times - 3/2
6-9 times - 3/1
10 or more times - 6/1

In President George W Bush's 2006 State of the Union address, how many times will the President say the word: Evil?

0-2 times - 1/1
3-5 times - 3/2
6-9 times - 7/2
10 or more times - 7/1

Interestingly, on the proposition ?Will the US Patriot Act be renewed by February 3rd, 2006?? is a toss up. The oddsmakers can't make up their mind because they don't even have a leaning on it. I wonder why?
