The Blackhawks need to bounce back in Game 2 of Vancouver at Chicago, as they were killed in the series? opening game.

Roberto Luongo held Chicago at bay in the first period, making 17 saves, which enabled Vancouver to settle down and eventually blow the game open. Vancouver got two late goals in the first and it was all over after that, with the Canucks winning 5-1. Luongo was great all night and made 36 saves, several of them highlight worthy. Mason Raymond continued to impress for Vancouver, netting first star honours with a goal and an assist.

Patrick Kane scored the lone goal for Chicago, his fifth of the postseason. Antti Niemi struggled in net; he was pulled after allowing five goals on 25 shots. He was replaced by Cristobal Huet.
