Boise State sophomore wide receiver Shane Williams-Rhodes, who is tied for the team lead with 77 catches, will not play in the Hawaii Bowl. He was unable to recover quickly enough from ankle surgery. He was injured Nov. 23 at San Diego State.
Sophomore safety Taylor Loffler also is out. The key special-teamer sustained a hernia in the Nov. 30 game against New Mexico.
