Boise State = Gonzaga

Kinda weird.......at some point people started taking the Gonzaga basketball program seriously......No one is really surprised to see Gonzaga get high seedings in the NCAA tournament and in the past few years people have thought that Gonzaga could go the distance in March Madness.

I think after tonight, Boise State may get some of those same chances in NCAA Football........they will be ranked high enough in pre season poles to get a shot to play big games against the big boys

The difference is that no big-time team in their right mind would play Boise at Boise or neutral site in football with what a single loss can do to a team in football.... where as Gonzaga gets plenty of chances to actually prove it on the court.

Football in the Mountain West and Wac is only one step below other conferences. BYU, TCU and Boise are all top 15 in my opinion. Utah got hosed a couple years ago getting stuck with Pitt in that Fiesta Bowl. These teams are legit.
