in the older times, there was honour in the game where you'd pitch to the guy and make HIM beat you.

what's always been the goal in sports? TO WIN.

Even moreso now.

IF the guy beats your ass the first time WALK the fawker and let the rest of that sorry assed team pick up the slack and beat you. (look at montreal series vs SF recently where BONDS wasn't in the lineup, nice sweep par LES EXPOS!!!)
