Not really
Usually about the qb but this NFL season was fking awful so 2 NFC teams with a backup and a bortles aren't too shocking to be in champ games.

Minn. or Jaxx. defense faltered today
Minn. defense when asked to stop Brees couldn't...24 //2nd half points allowed and took a miracle for Minn. to get the win
Jaxx...vaunted secondary gave up 5 passing TD's and if the Steeler coaching staff had a clue........ they had a chance to over come a 21-0 hole cutting it to 45-42...not much Defense when ya give up 42 ..
Ben threw for 469 ........
Blake Bortles won that game today for the Jags...
and he will have to beat Brady ....cuzzzzzzzzzzz if Ben got 469.......and 5....:SIB
Ben had a great day. He is Ben. Does not all of sudden mean the 2ns best defense now sux. 1st time around was 5 pix and 31-9...

Yes absolutely yes.....why don't these teams pull out the tape from the Super Bowl when the NY Giants crushed Brady with pressure look what happened. That front D line of the Giants and their defensive scheme was the difference! Gotta make Brady uncomfortable back there or you have zero chance
Exactly why the Jaguars have a shot vs NE! They rush the QB and they typically stop the run, now their secondary isn't the greatest, but if they're catching double digits and don't turnover the ball which is a huge IF, they should cover a big number and they should blitz Brady.
However, if Bortels plays like he did vs SF, Tenn, & Buffalo, it will get ugly quick and be a beatdown. If he plays like today, Jaguars have a chance. Campbell is an animal and could dominate! Also, Coughlin has enjoyed success vs NE previously and should help with game planning this week.

Bouye hadnt allowed a touchdown in 90 targets against him until yesterday and Jalen Ramsey may damn well be the best corner in the league
I don't think it's debatable that their Corners are the best pair in the league
They have athletic safeties and speed at linebacker which also helps in coverage but for some reason they can't stop the run as well as they should
It doesn't matter they have no chance in New England if Bortles doesn't complete 70% of his passes because I promise you bilichek will do everything he can to take away the Run game and make them one-dimensional and I don't see how in the world Jacksonville and Blake Bortles hang with New England and Tom Brady if the Jaguars can't run the ball
I don't think you can take away fournette completely but New England will scheme and find a way to limit what he can do
This has a chance to be a blowout unless Bortles can play like he did in his second season and make plays against a New England defense that is vulnerable against the pass

think this is due to the rule changes that totally have unevened the playing field.
giving the offense to much of an advantage.
the 2 BEST defenses yesterday, both got shredded.
neither jax or minny could make a defensive stop when needed.
no defense now a days can consistently stop anyone.
thats just the way it is......and i hate it.

I agree and disagree.....The game has changed so much over the years, bigger, faster, stronger rule today's game.....
Minnesota's D can dominate as long as the O (CK) doesn't turn the ball over.....It's all about wearing the other teams O/D down.....The Pats do it week in, week out by playing out score us.....Minny says, bring it we'll slow you down and our O will wear you down.....
It's a chess Match these days, if I can wear down your strength I win.... back in the day I have better players than you, I win.....
