The two games in Anaheim flew over this number and we saw three of the AL's best starters in those games. Each of those starters gave up 3 runs, and they all gave up a lot of base runners. Aroyo and Escobar will get rocked . I would be very suprised if either pitcher leaves the game before giving up 4 runs, and one of them will probably get tagged hard. I would wait a little while before betting on the unders to make a comeback in these playoffs. All of the teams in contension can hit well. That's not always the case in the postseason and Vegas may be throwing out the normal postseason totals when these are not normal postseason pitching dominated teams. Also it's clear that the plate is getting squeazed noticeably in most of the games. The overs are not close either. We are seeing big innings that are causing the games to eclipse the total by 2-3 runs or more.
I lean toward Boston in the game, but I'm not going to play it. One of these big dogs is going to cash soon so Vegas can get some money back. I hope Anaheim wins today so I can pound the RS tommorrow.
