Baylor (-9.4) over Washington
Bears can score and should spread the huskies thin on defense. Huskies are a good home team but have struggled on the road. Like the bears to ge out ahead and turn this into a track meet and Baylor has the faster players. The bears have the vest player in college football under center and I believe they have the edge on offensive line. That spells trouble for the huskie defense. The huskies best weapon is at running back with Polk and if the Baylor offense can make it a pass to stay in the game type game plan for Washington then they should get in trouble. The valor defense is not the greatest so looking over the match ups oli think it will be tough for the bears to play pass yet stay in position to get the Washington QB. Still I like the offensive game plan that Briles can come up with and even though sark is a good coach I'm bot sure they are deep enough to match up one On one with the speed at wideout. I like Baylor on special teams and I think RG III is looking at the heisman jinx and will come to play. He is aware that once a player wins that award they get complacent and I think he is up to putting his best foot forward. Baylor should put too much pressure on Washington deep and the safeties will struggle on deep coverage. Baylor learned they are best when ?tre hong the field. The use the pass and RG III scrambling to keep the huskies guessing and Baylor knows they have to make every drive count to pull away while the huskies will use Polk and struggle to keep the safeties deep and the box gets a little crowded.

Baylor (-6.5) over Washington 1H

Baylor/Washington OVER 80

BYU (ML) & (+1.5) over Tulsa
Tulsa defense allows 400 plus yard and 27 points per game. This game looks to be very interesting. BYU has been very quiet and focused getting ready for this contest, very business like in getting ready. They have some good talent on the o-line that should keep the QB upright and looking down field. Pretty simple in my mind because BYU has the edge on defense and it is pretty evident. Tulsa can score and score well but they don't stop people. Now BYU is not as powerful offensively BUT they are not facing a very tough tulsa defense which should allow the BYU offense to keep the ball moving down field. I think the BYU defense against the tulsa offense will be up to making enough stops to put the cougars in position to win the game. BYU defense has seen good teams and played well against them, they allow 20 points and 316 yards a game. They are big up front and run a difficult scheme with quickness in the secondary. I expect even though Kinne is a good QB he has a difficult time. BYU eight wins in the last nine and they should be ready and fight hard in this game. Toughest test for Tulsa was aginst Houston and that was a beating. I don't call the Okie game a test because that was like the spring game for the sooners, and again Tulsa did not fair well. The spread you out but it does not work against teams with a little deeper talent levels.

BYU/TULSA OVER (60.5)

Thanks buddy, happy new year. I think a lot of the smarter money is on the under but I just have a hard time with looking at the under with the quick play ability and the lack of defense.

Iowa St (-1) over Rutgers
Heavy play for me. The Cyclones have faced nine opponents that have qualified for either a bowl game or the FCS playoffs. A win today gives them the first winning record since 2005. What I think plays huge in this game is Iowa st running against the lack of a run stopping defense. Iowa St average 435 yards over the last seven games. To me I see the big 12 as a much stronger conference this season compared the the big east. Rutgers was average at best in that terrible conference and Iowa st has faced the tougher teams and even though they did not win a whole lot they did not quit. They are a tough team that believes in the coach and they play hard. Rutgers has a great coach but I don't think they will be as inspired as Iowa st is and they cyclones running the ball should grind down Rutgers and the knights just don't have enough to stay in the game if they are not riding emotion. Advantage to Rutgers in location but I still think Iowa St is the better team and I think they jump all over the knights. Like the Iowa St linebackers to be in the rutgers face all day, they read and react well and they can slow the run and drop in coverage. Thats their best position on defense overall but I think the Iowa St defensive line plays above average today.

Also going with Miss St (-7) over Wake
Not a huge play because I think Miss state has not played well of late but I like the SEC vs ACC match up. Wake will be more amped in the game returning to the bowl game after missing it last two years. I think Miss st is not great but if they come to play and want the game they could do some big things. I gave the SEC a ton of credit compared to the ACC but when Wake played Vandy they lost by 35. I think the bulldogs offense and defensive lines could be the MVP of the game.... that is if they come in and want this game. I'll know within the first few mins if this will be a play that I'm in or if I'm looking at Wake in the second half to get some money back.

Oregon(-6) over Wisky

Okie St (-3.5) over Stanford

I'm drunk but that does not change the facts. Oregon will wear down Wisky. The badgers not the greatest on the road and I liked how teams could pass on the badger. Luck is the only reason this isn't 7. He is a good QB with not too much around him. That is a TE offense. You cover them and it's trouble. Oregon handled luck, USC was able to distress luck and Arizona St made it tough for him. All road games and tonight the okie St offense forces him to stay in the game. The cowboys will love this game and I like them to offensively put luck in a bad position and hurt his ability. He might have been thinking where to live in Indy next tear. You give chip Kelly a month and I think they are dangerous. Defense fast and tall and wispy will run but it's all for not as the ducks out last the badgers.

Drunk or bot I'm on them large and following solid xappers here on SC and Houston. Thank you Alton Jefferies!!!!!!!
