BOWL CONTEST...

After lookin for FREE sites out there to host a BOWL contest, I have given up and will do this year what I did last year, and use a spread sheet and update it all manually (only 28 games, so not that big of a deal).
I have a web page on geocities (free site) that I use for some poker stuff, that I will be able to put this up and keep it updated in text form at the very least, but at least everyone's picks will be visible, so there will be no FUNNY business..

ENTRY FEE is $30, but be careful, our regular season will...THE ONE AND ONLY BAHAMA MAMA, has already committed and PAID, so I'm sure she'll be a formidable fo....

If you're interested, let me know and I'll get you signed on either via a check, or NETELLER, PAYPAL, etc....but get that done early please, as I'd like to get all the fees in BEFORE we get started as the BOWLS only last a couple weeks, I dont want the winners to have to wait to get PAID.

DEADLINE to enter is NIGHT BEFORE THE NEW ORLEANS BOWL (I will post ALL the lines on that web page as soon as they come out)...but PLEASE don't wait til the last minute to join in, MUCH of this work has to be done by hand...

MY HAND, so it'll run much smoother if I actually have time to do it a little at a time and not all on DEC 19th..

I saw it..and I see it was listed for 2004 and they weight it heavily for the BIGGER bowls...


my little spreadsheet works OK...I little work to get all the picks in, but once they are in...it aint so bad !!

Yeah , I know...I'm always antsy....I love this BOWL GAME stuff !!!

We are at 4 players so far, and I just sent the e-mail about 1 hr ago, so I think we have a few other antsy folks out there too !!

I've got the lines and text version of my spreadsheet on a little cheesy geocities web page, so we are up and running...about 9 players so far, I guess I can give that link since its pretty obvious that it's just a throwaway web page..

Sure thing, Blazer has my info, everyone is welcome....Looks like we are going to have a $500 GUARANTEE for 1st place, we only have like 20 entries right now, so you have a decent shot at turning $30 into some nice cash..

Feel free to invite whomever you want..all madjackers are welcome, but I'd like to see someone other than the MAMA actually post a better than .500 record (jpblack, dunclock, volfan....)
