I got 4 picks for this week's games. I have enjoyed a solid season in college, last time I checked I think it was like 60%. I am hoping to top it all off with the bowls.

357 Navy -2.5
358 CSU

Navy -2.5

-Navy is my play here. Navy is 8-3 in all lined games. Navy scores 32.6 ppg and CSU allows 28.9 ppg. This should be a good play at a FG and under. Navy should be able to control the game and the clock through their running game and keeping the CSU offense off the field.

359 Houston
360 Kansas -3

Houston +3

-At first I had Kansas circled along with some other good capper's here at MJ's but after looking at the game I like the Cougars. I like Houston's Ryan Gilbert 1,000 yard rusher and Kevin Klobb a 3,000 yard passer, 19 PATDs, and 15 Ints. I know Kansas is coming off a big win against Iowa St, but Kansas on the road has been horrific scoring 11.7 ppg and allowing almost 38 ppg. And considering this game Fort Worth, Texas that might tend to favor Houston a little. Staying with the dog on this play.

395 Akron
396 Memphis -5

Memphis -5

-All I have to say is DeAngelo Williams 1,726 rushing yards, 15 rushing TDs, and 4 games with 200+ yards. He is on a national spotlight and I think he shines in this game, I like this kid and he is dynamic. Sort of reminds me of Wolfe with Northern Ill. but better. Akron defense will be at mercy with the Zips allowing 143 rypg. I think Williams will rush close to 200 yards in this game. Akron will score and they do have some players with a 3,000+ yard QB, and 1,000+ yard RB, and a 1,000+ WR. As of right now I sort of have a lean on the over too, I will post if I add it. But I think Memphis is the better team but Akron could do the same to Memphis they did to Northern Ill. in the MAC championship, Wolfe still ran for 200+ in the loss.

353 UTEP
354 Toledo -3

UTEP +3

-Tailing Worm44 on this play. But I was a little torn between Gman and Worm on this play cause Gman makes some good points on Toledo as a strong rushing dog. Thanks for the input on the game guys and good luck Gman and Worm!

As some of you know I have been on fire lately going 17-2 in the last three weeks in the NFL. I'm hoping it can carry over to my bowl games this week. I am still looking at games and doing research for next week and I'll post Monday night.
Good Luck to all!

Navy/CSU didn't play out exactly how I thought but it was typical case of an good offense and bad defense. It seems like most of us here had Navy and it was an easy win for us. Hoping to notch another a win with Houston. I think they pull of the W tonight.

Thom - I would appreciate your comment on the following:

Kansas' strength of schedule vs Houston's.

Do you think Kansas' lack of offensive output is somewhat dictated by playing in the Big XII? Just a thought.

I'm leaning towards KU for that single reason. Not saying I'm right, but would like your thoughts.

Thanks and GL

Dayad- You have a valid point in strength of schedule, but honestly eventhough the Big 12 has 8 bowl teams it was a lesser conference this season. And looking at each teams W/L and schedule neither is that impressive. This game is in Fort Worth which should have a benfit to Houston with more of a home crowd. Personally I'm not going to play a team that allows 38 ppg on the road. But good luck with whatever you play!

Going down in flames

Going down in flames

This is one of the worst calls I had all season. Not only was there a ton of Jayhawk fans, Kansas' defense looks great. I should have listening to the forum. And did I mention Houston is terrible. Not a good start!

me :s4: everyone else

- working on my thread for 12/27 - 1/3...I didn't think I would have it done by kickoff but I should be done with it in an hour or so
