I need to get an office pool pick in this week and thought it might be useful to have a tread that contained all the bowl teams going bowling without the regular season head coach who was either fired or is leaving for another job.
I think past results of teams meeting this criteria shows these teams make excellent "go against" picks when you decide to step up to the wagering window this bowl season.
I will start off with a few and hope others with knowledge of their teams' situations will chime in at will (and thanks for your help in advance):
-Miami Larry Coker fired.....but might be coaching the bowl game? Haven't heard for sure what Coker's going to do
-Alabama will be without Shula and isn't their QB out for the game after blowing up his knee on the first day of bowl game practice?
Fire 'em on into the thread folks......this info will be useful in those situations where it's a flip-of-the-coin kind of bowl game. Teams just don't seem to respond well to a turnover in coaching this time of the year.
Again......appreciate you time and effort. ez
