This is an off-strip venue. We may see lines off-shore, or not, I can't say. I visited the the sportsbook in the casino where the fights are being held. They WILL post numbers, soon. I will be in attendance. What I am asking is for anyone who has the time to check into these matchups as a favor. I realize it may not be possible to bet any of these, but we can't be sure. Asking anyone to handicap a fight they can't bet is asking a lot, I know. But I would like some other viewpoints if possible. Thanks in advance!

Why wouldn't you think those fights to be available offshore, they will be. The name fighters have all been available to bet offshore against lesser opponents.

I am cruising thru Vegas with my pistol right now looking for you - you read my mind. :mj07: Sorry if I seemed a little flip but I have high expectations of Frankie Vegas.

I lived in New York for many years. Folks from the east coast have a certain way of coming across. You KNOW exactly what I mean. No biggie. Now that that's out of the way, are you going and if not please check these out. It's really the fact you mentioned it that I went there and got ticks. We have pretty good seats. Peace out.

Frank- I wouldn't miss that quality of a card for anything, that's a can't miss and I'm glad I tipped you onto it. The most expensive ticket was all of $83 . When you compare it to Calzaghe Hop card or DLH Forbes card at anywhere from $600-1250, you realize even more what a shit promoter and scam artist De La Homo is.

Sounds good. Lets hope we can make this little excursion pay for itself, and then some maybe! I started my work on it. Later.

Perhaps I should list the matchups.
Yuriokis Gamboa vs Darling Jimenez- super feather
James Kirkland vs Eromosele Albert- lt. middle
Alfredo Angulo vs Richard Gutierrez- lt. middle
Odlanier Solis vs Mamuka Jikurashvili- heavies
It would interesting to see what guys think BEFORE the lines come out. I have a few strong leans right now. If anyone sees lines posted for these please advise.

I'm going to be in Vegas for the fight as well as the Bryd fight the night before. This has turned out to be one hell of a card! I'm really looking forward to this. I didn't realise that Gamboa was fighting Jimenez who is a pretty decnt fighter from the Dominican Republic and stunned Mike Anchondo last yr. Albert is talking up a good game and we also also have Angulo and Solis... and all for 85$. I'd be a little surprised to see any upsets but these are very tough opponents for the favorites. The 3 opponents will give a good indication where Kirkland, Gamboa, and Angulo stand in their divisions.

Yea, looking foward to it also. Punchy mentioned it, and I took the bait! Lets hope we can scope these out. I'll post my choices soon.

Buffalo Bills has lines posted for this w/e's fights. Nothing at MGM-Mirage or Las Vegas Hilton. Still haven't made my final decisions. What with all the feedback I've been getting here I am really confused! Guess I'll just have to go it alone.

Bump for boxies sake.

My bad frank...

To be honest, I wouldn't play any fav's on this card with confidence. Gamboa should roll Jiminez but the dog has just enough power to make me worry. Angulo is a search and destroy type of guy, very powerful, but he was wobbled by "the shark" in his last fight, had to dig deep to get through that one. Gutierrez will last longer than "the shark" and has just as much power, it wouldn't surprise me to see Angulo get caught coming in and not be able to get out of trouble...against a much better fighter this time. Kirkland is much like the other two fav's, very strong and throws huge punches, but he's limited and very hitable. Albert is 3" taller and a very capable boxer, he could make it a long night for the one dimensional Kirkland

As far as totals, I think all 3 fights point towards the Under, but one will go Over, probably the Kirkland fight as I don't see Albert trading much
