Major question here is HOW will Hatton win. Considering Lazcano hasn't fought in 15 months, I'd say him lasting the full 12 does not bode well for him. Hatton gets thumped by Mayweather and now fights at home versus a semi-retired boxer. Gee, I wonder if Hatton will want to impress his adoring fans with a spectacular showing? You think? Or maybe it will be a boring slap fest? Will Ricky be gun shy after the Mayweather loss? No-no-no!!!. He will be agressive and go after this guy and try very hard to give his fans what they came for, a resounding win by KO. So far this is lined at 10.5 rounds over-120. Wating for more options. Hatton will dismantle this guy, though.

I can see Hatton being agressive early. But if Lazcano can take, and I think he very well can, Hatton will guickly start holding and looking like crap. Then we have a 12 round horrible fight. I don't see Hatton being dangerous for many rounds.

thinking about it, I'm taking Lazcano in round 10-12 at +2800
it's what people are calling a lottery ticket, but Hatton will be dead tired...

Frankie, I put 5 bucks on the under @ even odds. I think the line will move wider closer to fight time. Lazcano is starting to show a bit of mileage. Laz struggled against a shot Burton a few yrs ago. He got the late stoppage but burton made it tough on him. Garnica gave him some trouble too and some observers thought Garnica deserved the nod. I bet V Harris and thought Harris was ready to be taken if Laz pressed the issue...he couldn't and didn't. Hatton would have smoked Harris that night. If Hatton can wear down and stop Tzyu then I have to think he can get a shop worn tough fighter in Laz out of there. He'll be looking to impress the fans and take out some of the residual Floyd frustrations out on a lesser fighter. If Hatton is in control, I think the ref in Manchester would stop things a little early to prevent any potential disaster of Hatton getting caught late in the fight.

Oh no! King Over is on an UNDER!!! What is the world coming to? I am always down on a guy that isn't active. No fight in 15 months is not good; traveling overseas is even tougher. I just see Ricky going after this guy. The fans demand it there.

Lazcano is a in front of you kind of guy. He's tough but he's a fading commodity. Hatton much quicker and fresher. Hatton should break him down inside of 10.:spotting:

I put a small wager on Lazcano at +850. I only bet this after hearing that Hatton might have been sick and was on anti-biotics.

He has declared himself 100% ready but I don't trust boxers who want to put on a show in front of the home crowd.

They sometimes fight ill, rather than cancel at the last minute and let the fans down.

Good luck all.
