I hate to say this because every time i do the opposite happens but this Gomez/Gatti fight has to be a very entertaining fight. Two guys who never let me down.

By the way Box i didn't watch the fights on Showtime last night. I taped them but i don't want to get Brewstered and waste my time. Are these worth watching?

The Donaire-Darchinyan fight was very good while it lasted, esp considering that Donaire was a 10-1 underdog

The Simms-Alcine was brutal, I'd rather watch Hatton fight Ruiz

Box,

Any thoughts on the Cintron fight? Thanks.

Cintron should beat Matthysse, but I wouldn't lay 5-1 odds on this one, maybe a parlay possibilty but I wouldn't go large on it

Matthysse is a straight up brawler, he will be throwing bombs from the beginning. Cintron was rocked and cut early by Margarito, it threw him completely off his game and he basicly quit. Matthysse is no Margarito but he has power and he'll bring it for the first few rounds, if he catches or cuts Cintron early I wouldn't be surprised if Cintron folds under the relentless pressure.

Like I said, I think Cintron wins, but I wouldn't lay 5-1 on this one

"the bunker"
i wasn`t aware that julio was 4 inches taller than bundrage.......so bundrage shouldn`t be boxing his way to victory....

so that means that bundrage will basically have to work his way inside....and that means that somebody could go...

i hate betting unders....but,maybe a parlay with the lorenzo over?....

bundrage is a tough guy.....strong....i`m not sure that he he`s couldn`t hurt julio...

julio is overrated,imo...but he can punch......

but that height differential....

i`m gonna watch....not gonna bet...but when the big puncher is 4 inches taller....and the other guy is strong and not particularly slick......

that means that there should be some serious exchanges....

btw....at +1100.......anybody think long, tall, on a roll darrell woods has a longshot chance at surprising allan green?.....after what mcrary did to him?.....

just thinkin` out loud....

I'm not playing the fight either, but Bundrage was seriously hurt by Smith at the end of their fight. Julio hits much harder than Smith, and Bundrage will have to take some chances with his height disadvantage. I think Julio could stop him at any time, but no play for me.

I have Cintron in the back end of 2 parlays with Klitch from last week (-130 and -200)...so maybe hedge with the under and try to nail it both ways or possibly Matthysse i-t-d +552

Dooley-I like Cintron here BUT Matthysse INSIDE is also an option. I may hedge and use it myself. As box said, a straight up banger, goes for the fences each time he lets go. He could hit the mark. Cintron I'd say is improving under Steward so I like him INSIDE or a "won't go the distance" prop.

Adding

Gomez wins inside distance +487...lay .10 to win .50

Played this at +550 and +487...Gomez is the bigger guy and I'm sure he watched the Baldomir fight

Btw, I agree on the Cintron-Mathysse fight not going the distance, somebody's goin' in this fight. I imagine 5dimes will put odds on it, but it will most likely be -250 or more. I'll probably parlay it, but what do I know, I don't live anywhere near Vegas, all curling matches around here

I couldn't post on this fight today because I was traveling most of the day and had to stop in a wireless coffeshop and rush my wagers down on Julio and the under... Bundrage in my opinion sucks. Chris Smith could play a role in Night of the Living Dead" and he really had K9 staggered and hurt but because he's shot , couldn't finish him. A contender fight I saw, K9 got the stoppage because he was so much bigger than his opponent. Powell took him out in round 1. Quintana is a slick lefty and was just a terrible style matchup for Julio. If you watched all of Julio's fights since, he's built himself back up each fight after the close call against C Rivera who is no slouch. Ah well, I thought that was easy money and K9 was an exposure waiting to happen.

honestly....even in a.c.......if gatti beats gomez here,i`ll be legitimately surprised......

gomez can fight...he`s bigger....and imo,at this point in their respective careers, much more durable....

gatti looks like he`s getting used to getting stopped....

gatti holds his own early, but i expect him to wilt...

C'mon punchy, we all know your a solid boxing guy, no need to lie about the past post. We all have personal plays that we don't post, just say that you weren't confident enough in the plays to post them, and thats it. Don't say you didn't have time to post them when its obvious that you did, just makes you look shady.

Not sure how to respond to this. I should have know the past post would be useless . Your actually accusing me of liying and somehow you know I had time to post yesterday. I have a real job that requires me to fly. You ever had a bunch of deadlines to meet?. I didn't think it was worth risking my flight to post some more after I rushed getting my bets down. I'll say it again- Julio has been rebuilding his confidence for some time after losing to a slick southpaw. Bundrage ain't no slick southpaw and is tailor made for Julio and I bet accordingly. I set myself up for your response, but I don't think you should be accusing someone you don't know of lying and being shady. I've seen you on a number of occasions say oh yea, I put this bet down and forgot to post.. So what cool town/state do you live in for the madjacks boxing get together since Vegas doesn't make much sense.?

You posted on this forum 3 hours before the fight started. If you had time to tell me that vision was a little narrow on the Vegas trip...then you obviously had time to post "Julio and Under tonight"
